Participation Acknowledgment & Agreement

This workshop focuses on relational co-regulation between humans and dogs and is educational and experiential in nature.

  • This workshop is not psychotherapy, medical care, or veterinary care.
  • No diagnosis or treatment is being provided.
  • Participation does not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes.
  • Participants remain responsible for their own well-being and their dog’s behavior and safety.

Workshop Format — Two Day Structure

Day 1 (Human-Focused Foundation)

  • Understanding nervous system regulation in humans and dogs
  • How regulation emerges within the relational field between species
  • Observational skills: reading canine body language and stress signals
  • Human awareness practices that influence the dog–human system

 

Between Sessions

Participants spend the week practicing observation and simple regulation exercises with their dogs at home.

This integration week allows the learning to move from theory into lived experience.

 

Day 2 (Integration & Application)

  • Reflection on observations from the week of practice
  • Deepening relational awareness between human and dog
  • Practical exercises supporting calm, orientation, and connection
