Waves of Curiosity
1627 Silver Heights Blvd

⸻
What if calm between you and your dog didn’t come from better training…
but from understanding the nervous system field you share?
⸻
Who this workshop is for
• Dog owners navigating challenges with their dog
• People who want a deeper relationship with their dog
• Trainers or professionals working with dogs
• Anyone curious about nervous-system based work with dogs
⸻
This two-day humans-only workshop introduces the Interspecies Co-Regulation Framework, developed by Cath Lopez Wessell, MSW, and integrates relationship-centered canine practice with human somatic regulation work taught by Martha Everett, SEP, LMT.
At the heart of this work is a simple but powerful idea:
Your dog is constantly reading your nervous system — and you are reading theirs.
What travels through your body travels down the leash.
When we learn how to work with that shared field, calm, trust, and cooperation begin to emerge naturally.
⸻
Workshop Structure
This is an 8-hour workshop spread across two days, with one week between sessions.
That week allows you to practice what you learn at home with your dog, observe what shifts in the relationship, and return ready for the next layer of work.
⸻
Day One — Entering the Relational Field
Entering the Relational Field
Understanding the shared nervous system space between you and your dog.
Reading the Dog
Body language, calming signals, threshold, and nervous system state — without moral overlay.
The Human Nervous System
How your body organizes under stress and what travels down the leash.
Co-Orienting
Shared attention as the foundation of connection.
You’ll also learn a daily regulation protocol to help pattern and support your dog’s nervous system.
⸻
Day Two — Integration
Reflection & Integration
What shifts when you begin seeing through a regulation lens.
Rupture & Repair
How disruption and safe return build trust over time.
Handling & Consent
Touch and proximity as relational processes.
Body, Posture & Leash Awareness
How physical organization shapes the field between you and your dog.
Practices to Take Home
Simple relational practices to integrate into daily life.
⸻
Humans attend the workshop — your dog benefits from what you bring home.
This workshop is for anyone living or working with dogs — whether you are navigating challenges, working professionally with dogs, or simply wanting a deeper and more attuned relationship with the dog in front of you.
⸻
